INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROPHET JESUS
('AYSA)
'Aysa (Jesus), (may Allah increase his honor)
was the next to the last Prophet in Islam. He was given a book, the Bible,
which was given in its entirety. It was not written by man. Jesus
(may Allah increase his honor) was a Prophet and Messenger of God. 'Aysa
(may Allah increase his honor) was undeniably a man. He had the
need to eat, drink and sleep. These facts are undeniable. Therefore
it is impossible for 'Aysa (may Allah increase his honor) to
be God or a part of God, because God does not need anything, and it
is impossible for God to be divided into parts.
It is true that 'Aysa (may Allah increase
his honor) is the son of Maryam who gave birth to him. There is
a division of the Qur¡¦an which tells the story of 'Aysa's birth.
This division is called ¡§Surat Maryam¡¨. One of the points
that is emphasized in this Surah is that God does not have a
begotten son, and 'Aysa (may Allah increase his honor) is
referred to as 'Aysa, son of Maryam.
Maryam herself was a very good Muslim in whom
God willed a child to be born without an act of copulation. Thus, 'Aysa
(may Allah increase his honor) was born without a father. In the Qur¡¦an
God cursed the Jews for accusing Maryam of adultery and
rejecting faith in God and 'Aysa's message. That 'Aysa (may
Allah increase his honor) could be born in such a way is a great
thing, but no matter how great, it is impossible for him to be the son
of God. After all God created Adam, the first Prophet, from
earth, without a mother or father. So if God wills for one to be, he
will be. God is the Creator of everything. He does not need anything
and He does not resemble any of His creations. He is one and
indivisible. So knowing that 'Aysa (may Allah increase his
honor) was a man who lived, breathed, ate, drank and slept is positive
proof that 'Aysa (may Allah increase his honor) was not God or
the son of God as Christians claim.
Further proof of this point is that 'Aysa (may
Allah increase his honor) prayed. If as some people claim, 'Aysa was
God or part of God, then why did he pray? Prayer is always a sign of
submission and dependence on God. If 'Aysa was God or a part of
God, he would not have prayed, but he was a man, he prayed.
'Aysa (may Allah increase his honor) was a
Prophet and Messenger of God. He called himself the slave of God. For 'Aysa
(may Allah increase his honor) taught that there was only one
Creator, and that the Creator owned all the creations. 'Aysa ,
being a creation, was owned by the Creator, and therefore a slave of
God, as we all are. God chose 'Aysa (may Allah increase his
honor) to be a Prophet and Messenger. Therefore, he had the
characteristics of a Prophet along with miracles.
'Aysa (may Allah increase his honor) taught
Islam as the Prophets before him, and Muhammad (may Allah
increase his honor) after him. He taught that God is one. God revealed
the Bible to him, which was later raised to the sky. What is
present today are books written by men for their own gain. The
divisions of what people today claim to be the Bible don¡¦t
even try to make a pretense of having come from God as they bear the
names of those who wrote them, for example, the books of
Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. All of these are present in various
versions of what people claim to be the Bible. So people claim
to know the authors of this work they call the Bible, and
don¡¦t even pretend that it comes from God. But the original Bible
was revealed to 'Aysa (may Allah increase his honor) from God
and had no human author. So obviously what is present today is nothing
more than a perversion of the truth written by men.
The versions vary depending on what the particular
group of Christians involved wanted to attain. For example, a popular
version is ¡¥The King James Version¡¨ of the Bible entitled
exactly that. This version was one King James had translated to be
used by the Church of England at the time. The church had been founded
by King James' grandfather, Henry the Eighth of England. Henry broke
from the Catholic Church in order to divorce his wife, Kathryne of
Spain. Other versions that claim to be the Bible are called the
'New American Standard Bible' and the 'New English Bible'.
So it is apparent that those who call themselves
Christians are not following what 'Aysa (may Allah increase his
honor) taught, but what non-believers perverted to gain whatever it
was they were after. To love 'Aysa (may Allah increase his
honor) and believe in his Prophethood is required of the Muslims.
Those who deny it or lie about him saying that he was not the Prophet
of God will be punished in Hell forever.
By the will of God, 'Aysa (may Allah
increase his honor) gave sight to the blind and healed the leper.
These miracles are recorded in the Qur¡¦an. They give proof to
the fact that 'Aysa (may Allah increase his honor) was a
Prophet. He did all of these miracles by God¡¦s will. He was obedient
to God and ordered people to believe in God. One must believe that 'Aysa
(may Allah increase his honor) was a Prophet and a Messenger of
God.
'Aysa (may Allah increase his honor) told the
Jews he came confirming what Musa (may Allah increase his
honor) told in the Towrat. 'Aysa (may Allah increase his honor)
also told of a Prophet Ahmad (may Allah increase his honor) who
would come after him. Ahmad is another name of Muhammad
(may Allah increase his honor). Since 'Aysa told of Muhammad¡¦s
coming, anyone who wants to believe in 'Aysa (may Allah
increase his honor) and wants to follow him faithfully must believe in
Muhammad (may Allah increase his honor), since that is what 'Aysa
(may Allah increase his honor) ordered if he should appear in
one¡¦s lifetime.
When the Jews wanted to harm 'Aysa (may
Allah increase his honor), he was raised directly to the second sky
where he still lives today. He ordered people to follow Muhammad
(may Allah increase his honor). When he returns to Earth, he will rule
by the rules of Muhammad (may Allah increase his honor). When 'Aysa
returns, he will break the cross and kill the pig. He will rule
the Muslim nation. His appearance will be a sign of the coming of the
Final Day.
So we must admit that 'Aysa (may Allah
increase his honor) was a Prophet and a Messenger of God, and know
that he never claimed to be God or the son of God. He ordered people
to follow Muhammad (may Allah increase his honor) when he
appeared, and 'Aysa (may Allah increase his honor) himself will
follow Muhammad¡¦s Shariat when he returns to Earth.
For all Prophets taught one religion, Islam. So it is necessary for
those who want to follow 'Aysa (may Allah increase his honor)
to become Muslim. This is done by saying, ¡§I firmly believe that
there is only one Creator, His name is Allah, and Muhammad is
His Prophet and Messenger,¡¨ simultaneously having the intent in
one¡¦s heart to become Muslim and leave all things that contradict
this belief.
